Visiting Captain
A Visiting Captain is an honorary rank bestowed upon a Captain that is not directly involved with the Colorado Rogues Fleet. They are Captains of their own vessels and usually have a different "Home Faire" than the home faire of the Rogues: Colorado Renaissance Festival. Visiting Captains are not recognized by the Council as contributing members or a Captain of the Colorado Rogues: they are independent of our fleet and do not receive a vote on the Captains Council.
Unless otherwise instructed Visiting Captains are to be honored as a Captain and shown respect. Rogues understand that Visiting Captains do not hold rank over any Fleet Member and cannot request services of Step N' Fetches (though SnFs may offer their services if they choose, but they may not be granted recognition by the Harbour thereof).
This rank is one of the highest honors a Friend of Rogues may posses and is usually reserved for those Captains that have created an alliance between groups that is mutually beneficial. In most cases this requires a crew; a Captain of one is not so common.
Visiting Captain is not a title that is requested or demanded: It is bestowed as the council feels fit.
