Faire Participation
The Assassin's Guild presence at faire is always existent, with many members serving in various shops, roles in the monarchy, ship's heads and even simple crew among the rogues. Any visible participation of the Guild is non-existent beyond the presence of the Guildmaster and the ranks of the dead left in the guild's silent wake.
The Game
The rules for the game are fluid, changing from year to year. The guildmaster always lays out the rules before the game starts and calculates a winner through the accumulation of points through the summer.
Members of the guild are known to carry a journal detailing the deaths of other Rogues before turning these tabulations in to the guildmaster at the end of the "Hunting Season." The guildmaster uses these journals to decide a winner.
The guildmaster has final say on punishments for failed assassinations, rules for specific challenges and may add or remove rules throughout the game in the interest of keeping the game going and settling disputes.
