The First Mate's primary responsibilities are the vessel's cargo operations, its stability, and supervising the deck crew. The First Mate only answers to the Captain and is the second-in-command in all functions.
In the Colorado Rogues, the First Mate may act as the Captain in meetings or vote for the Ship when the Captain is absent.
The Captain will often delegate other top level duties to their First Mate. The First Mate Is one of the 3 Members of The Head of the ship along with the Quartermaster and Captain.
