Good Evening everyone and welcome aboard The Koumori. The ship I call home now, it wasn’t always my home and, that is the story I am going to tell you. So sit back and grab yourself a pint or some Rum and enjoy….

“It all started on a cold winter’s night working on the farm to make it to the next meal. Working for anyone, doing anything. As the fates had made my life was a sad one. With every person I called friend turning their back on me and leaving me in the dust to fend for myself. I dug myself a hole of despair and hid from the world. Things were going by a day at a time with nothing wanting me to go on except the fear of death. I didn’t want to do anything because I had no one to do it with. I worked and went home.” Sad and hopeless I know... why didn’t he just end it all then, well I will tell you “ One calm afternoon I got a message from someone I thought I lost a long time ago.. It was my Brother Vindorein; He had returned from a long trip and wanted to get together with me. I couldn’t believe it I was beside myself with joy. A feeling I hadn’t felt in a long time. He said in his message to meet me in the city at the weapons shop, I packed my things and off I went. When I made it there I was in shock not only did my brother show up, he brought friends with him which accepted me into their group. The leader of the Group [[Phydoux]], nice guy sarcastic and rough around the edges but a good guy. His group was called The Black Velvet Band, a group of assassins and thieves. I soon climbed the ranks to a matching rank of 3rd in command along side my brother Vin. Mid summer came and along with it the Festival. Something I didn’t have money to attend in the recent past was not only able to go but be part of. My Guild was given jobs there at different activities. The many leaders of the guild were given a job running an archery contest. Since most of us knew the art. We were also given a side job by our guild master to relieve items from people’s persons. In this process we met up with the local Pirates. They called themselves The Colorado Rogues. A large group of pirates that also were working at the festival. Well at least some were. Most were in the pub drinking the rum.”

This Lads and Lasses is where the fun really begins… or at least that what I thought at first. “I was introduced to a Captain of the Fleet... [[Captain Muttq]], he was in charge of the ship [[The Lady Sinister]]. The captain was the one that decided that Vin and I needed to become pirates. We soon found out that our Guild Master was already a pirate and was the [[First Mate]] of [[The Lady Sinister]]. We were then introduced to a man named [[Harbourmaster Kaushunn]]. He was the one who taught us the basic of being a pirate and working as a group on a ship. We spent the next year on [[The Harbour]]. Some days were harder than others and there were even days I wanted to give up and go back to the farm, but my new family wouldn’t let me. They continued to give me hope and help push me along. With all the help I made it to the day I could become a real pirate. I was given a choice of what ship I wished to join in the fleet. I was given the chance to talk with all the Captains of each ship and decided which ship would be best for me. I choose [[The Lady Sinister]] under [[Captain Muttq]]. I went to him not only because he brought me into the fleet but he gave me a new home. As I joined the crew of [[The Lady Sinister]] I joined as [[Bosun]] which was a short lived position as for my brother who had the [[Quartermaster]] job jumped ship. I stepped up and took the job and worked to prove I deserved it. I held the spot for over a year. Trying as I may to help my shipmate with out ship duties. In the end I could not hold up my end of the bargain and ended up letting the ship head down a sinking path. With my natural survival instinct I made the decision to jump ship and start over. I heard of the new ship to the Fleet from the far east. Its name [[The Koumori]], it was commanded by [[Captain Zetsumei]]. Like a bat out of hell it appeared on the horizon and picked me up at port. I join the ship as a crew member and hope to prove to the Captain and her crew that I can earn my keep and possibly a position on the ship. I wish to continue my training as an armorer. As with everything only time will show what my true calling is in this Fleet. With a family I like to call [[The Colorado Rogues]].” Well that is my story as it has unfolded so far, I will update you as things change... The Life of a Banshee

I was born in a small cottage in Larkspurshire. My father was an apprentice falconer, my mother abandoned by her well-to-do family. I grew up barefoot and wild, until my mother and I ran away. We went to the shore, and lived on the streets. My mother was gone for hours every night, and she came back with lots of cash. Soon, she “earned” enough to rent a small room, and once again we had a roof over our heads. I ran wild through the streets, and I soon met other children my age. I learned from them, and before long I was helping Mother pay bills with money I “earned” picking pockets. My mother was not happy with my chosen life, but she could not stop me, as she was not often home.

We had been at the shore for a few years, and we began to live quite comfortably. My mother started buying nicer clothes for herself, and for me. I learned what it meant to bathe, and I found out that my hair was blonde. I had never been clean before, and I found that I liked it. Mother also decided it was time to educate me. I discovered school. I learned to read, and to write, and my mother always supported me in this, as she knew what it felt like not to be allowed to learn.

While we were living near the shore, Mother had many friends. She introduced me to some of them, and I later learned that they were pirates. I was frightened when I found out, but she reminded me not to judge people based on rumor. She was right, and the pirates have become like family to me. Soon there was a falling out within the ranks of the pirates, and the Queen was overthrown. I wept, as she had always been kind to me. However, our life did not change much, and the pirates found a new leader.

During this period, I started noticing the same man visiting rather more often than anyone else. He was tall and blonde and scary, but my mother had no fear. As I saw him more and more, I realized that I did not fear him either, as he was sweet and gentle to his friends. Soon I knew that I was going to lose my mother, as she was falling in love. I yelled and screamed, off and on, to show my anger. It never helped, though, and my mother married him anyway. I continued screaming, every so often, to remind them I was still there. He nicknamed me Banshee, in token of my shrill voice, and loved me as the father I had never had.

The pirates once again “reorganized”. Later, I learned that the word was mutiny. The pirates split into several Ships, and my new father was named one of the Captains. To my delight, he took my mother on his ship with him, and brought me as well. My mother began teaching me to follow in her footsteps. Now I finally have a real job, and a place to call home, Powder Monkey on the Lady Sinister.

His name was Phydoux. Hers, Little Jess. They “recruited” me to join their band and I quickly became one of Jess’s most favored females. It was Jess that branded me Lady Di, claiming that I was the closest thing to a “Lady” she’d ever met. When Phydoux and Jess sought to organize their faithful friends, I stuck with them helping to fill the ranks of “The Black Velvet Band” as we came to be called. It soon became apparent that our “Band” needed income and a bargain was struck, with Captain MuttQ of The Lady Sinister, that we would crew his ship and he would put gold in our pockets. It was upon The Sinister that I found Sylvr, Cap’n MuttQ’s Surgeon. She trained me and when she felt the time was right, she asked the Cap’n for permission to promote me to Surgeon in her stead and so it is that I came to be Lady Di, Surgeon of The Lady Sinister.

What can I say, I too was young and dumb once. When I was a young lad I dreamed of the feel of a good sword in my hand, the wind on my face, and the sun on my back, and above all the Freedom to roam where and how I willed …. That must be how I fell in with the band … They were a ragtag group, and not very well organized ….One night a job went south …We lost most of us. All because a girl turned us in …. Those of us that survived the encounter laid very low for a while … but eventually sought each other out .the men made me their new leader … I accepted with reservations. Was I really fit to lead?

We moved to a new port and set up shop again. My new band, seeking members all over. While on a temporary vacation (so the law got a little closer then we wanted) I meet a wonderful young lass… Eyes full of wild and a soul unbound, what can I say. I was hooked. While courting the wonderful lady I ended up at a rather boisterous party that took place at the private residence of a local madam. It was an interesting time I meat several Self proclaimed Pirate captains... But with no ships in port I ignored their claims but made good friends anyway with the one they called Moon. To this day I am scared to discover why they call him that.

With our friendship sealed, he and I meet several more times at a little bit more sober of events. And through him I was introduced to a man whose name meant something to a dog like me, MuttQ. I maintained a good but not close friendship with both of these captains as they were always out to sea, so they claimed. The band and I got things rolling even better and were thinking of branching out to another kingdom but while on our travels there we were attacked by a nearly mythical beast. It felled three men before any of us had drawn steel but with my lady here I was no going to let it Taste her blood… I moved into one on one combat with it. Ordering my men to tend to wounded and retreat. The battle was fierce and it took me with it down a small cliff.

I remember little other then the sound of the Lady Jessica calling out to me. But when I do have memories that function properly I was in an apothecary. And my angel was there with me. The doctor said my injuries were bad.and that I might not heal but I was determined... After a time they seemed to vanish entirely and none could find a good reason way. But I was released to go home again though it was not easy getting back to the life I had, but I made it work out, and the next summer I took the Angel I knew and made her my bride. Scores of pirates made berth to come at the request of Captains MuttQ and Moon

Captain MuttQ offered us a trip to a different island for our wedding .we took him up on it and have not left his ship or crew since … Lady Noir was the first mate serving under him when we started this voyage but while we served him on his vessel we learned he was one of a fleet of ships and the Lady Noir moved from the Lady Sinister to a posting on the flag ship.. MuttQ offered me the privilege of being his first mate and I took it... Since I have brought many a person from my guild onto his crew and we sail with him during the good sea months and when the ship makes berth at land I tend to my guild business and make sure that my guild brothers and sisters are well taken care of.

In the last winter when the fleet had settled in I learned of my wife’s pregnancy and her wish to stay ashore for birth, I was going to stay with her but she wanted me to Aid the Captain in case we met a ship that would not surrender to our might. It was rare but some hadn’t learned our standard well enough to know we gave no quarter. This proved useful as he took a wound that haunted him for much of our voyage. But our trusty Surgeon kept him together. In the appointed months we ported in early so I could depart and be with my wife for the birth. It went rather well I was told by the midwife and I added a wonderful baby girl to my family my first child whom I hope takes after the wild ways of her mother

In the recent season of piracy we learned of one of my guild mates’ betrothal and we brought his lady and him to the shire where I met this merry band of Pirates and my wild woman, and we did our best to make as wonderful a ceremony as we could. With MuttQ officiating and our brother in arms Vindorien, Von, and David all serving as grooms men to Arctos during the reception the king called all of the grooms men up and asked us to kneel. We were unsure what to really do other than obey. Apparently his Queen had spoken with him and they had decided to knight us. We were flabbergasted, it isn’t every day a privateer becomes a knight of the realm...Now I sail on at the side of My Captain, MuttQ, riding the sea aboard the Lady Sinister, taking what we may from those unwary souls we meet. I greet thee, as Sir Phydoux, First Mate of the Lady Sinister.

Questions to answer:

1) What is ur full name and how did u get it?
a. Quiksylvr d’Lamina….Italian…means “she of the quicksilver blade”, which in my case really refers to a rose’s color and my blade lust. Friends call me “sylvr”. That name was gifted me by Lady Erickson…an artist who might claim royalty in her patronage, gifted in exchange for a kindness. Was nameless and homeless before then, and walked the earth in shadow.

2) How did u become a rogue? .
Was taking a walk through the shire a little earlier than was my want. Heard the distinctive sound of sword fighting. Crept closer to investigate. Two men, both excellent swordsmen, were fighting to the shouts and cheers of more than a dozen pirates. I concealed myself but was spotted by one of the female pirates who beckoned for me to join the group. Join the group, I did, both that night and every night after, ‘til what passed for home & family was found.

3) Why do u go masked?
Some time ago, my blood brother was killed. There is a hole left in my heart. Masking my face makes masking that pain easier. A thing begun in mourning fit well enough to be continued.

4) How did you join the Lady Sinister’s crew?
She who brought me to the Rogues was Master Gunner for that ship. Over the course of few rum soaked evenings, I’d found a soft spot for the Sinister’s crew. And, in return, they have made me family, despite my many faults.

I'm Stalkie McGroper, AKA Mikey to my friends and family, Mike to my acquaintences and Michael to those soon to be disposed of on a cold mountain road.

I'm Scottish, born of Clan Cameron, and have a tendency to mock the English when i can. Being as my father's abandonment at 8 by his english name donor of a father, it left a sore spot in my upbringing. The Camerons are known as a Military Clan, and my 4 brothers and I were raised as such.

I stepped back out of my impending service, and hit the road freelance to seek my fortune by the sword, blade and pistol.

For many years I served as a mercinary for hire, fighting in Northern wastes, or smuggling in humid swamps and mires of Southern Seas stumbling though opium dens or brothels when not claiming my pay.

His name was Phydoux. Hers, Little Jess. They “recruited” me to join their band and I quickly became one of Jess’s most favored females. It was Jess that branded me Lady Di, claiming that I was the closest thing to a “Lady” she’d ever met. When Phydoux and Jess sought to organize their faithful friends, I stuck with them helping to fill the ranks of “The Black Velvet Band” as we came to be called. It soon became apparent that our “Band” needed income and a bargain was struck, with Captain MuttQ of The Lady Sinister, that we would crew his ship and he would put gold in our pockets. It was upon The Sinister that I found Sylvr, Cap’n MuttQ’s Surgeon. She trained me and when she felt the time was right, she asked the Cap’n for permission to promote me to Surgeon in her stead and so it is that I came to be Lady Di, Surgeon of The Lady Sinister.

==Innsamouth Harbour==

[[The Harbour]] is the central port for the [[Colorado Rogues]]. all new people go through the harbour and are put under the [[Harbourmaster]] for the Step n' Fetch program for one year. At the end of the year they are judged on performance and either inducted into the ranks or repeating the program another year.

Questions to answer:

1) What is ur full name and how did u get it?
a. Quiksylvr d’Lamina….Italian…means “she of the quicksilver blade”, which in my case really refers to a rose’s color and my blade lust. Friends call me “sylvr”. That name was gifted me by Lady Erickson…an artist who might claim royalty in her patronage, gifted in exchange for a kindness. Was nameless and homeless before then, and walked the earth in shadow.

2) How did u become a rogue? .
Was taking a walk through the shire a little earlier than was my want. Heard the distinctive sound of sword fighting. Crept closer to investigate. Two men, both excellent swordsmen, were fighting to the shouts and cheers of more than a dozen pirates. I concealed myself but was spotted by one of the female pirates who beckoned for me to join the group. Join the group, I did, both that night and every night after, ‘til what passed for home & family was found.

3) Why do u go masked?
Some time ago, my blood brother was killed. There is a hole left in my heart. Masking my face makes masking that pain easier. A thing begun in mourning fit well enough to be continued.

4) How did you join the Lady Sinister’s crew?
She who brought me to the Rogues was Master Gunner for that ship. Over the course of few rum soaked evenings, I’d found a soft spot for the Sinister’s crew. And, in return, they have made me family, despite my many faults.
