Who We Are
Our Lady of Perpetual Crisis Healer's Guild is one of The Guilds within the Colorado Rogues. Health and General well-being is our focus as well as studies and knowledge sharing.

Mission Statement
When we were children and skinned our knee, we knew our parents would have a bandage for us. As adults, the Healer’s Guild are the Rogues you can turn to for that bandage. We are united in our desire to bring healing to members of our family, the fleet.
Whether a scrape, a sprain, or a new diagnosis, we strive to bring peace and answers. Armed with CPR and First Aid training, members of our guild are capable and willing to provide these services.
We aspire to update and increase our knowledge with training sessions within the guild. In the times when we don’t have an immediate answer, we look forward to the opportunity to learn more by doing research on your behalf. The Healer’s Guild can be trusted as a resource in your life, whether the concern is for you, a family member with 2 or 4 legs, or even a neighbor. Through life's many trials and challenges, rest assured the Healer's Guild can walk those miles with you and assist with whatever support is needed.

Introduction
Below are listed the Ships, House and Harbour that comprise the factions of Colorado Rogues . Each faction has its own purpose and personality.

On each ship's page you will find information as well as thier roster and individual member pages by clicking thier name indicated as a blue link.

Purple links will indicate those that are still under construction.

The Commodore
The Colorado Rogues is a collective fleet of ships, which as a whole are led by the Commodore, who does not exist as part of any one ship.

The title of Commodore is currently held by Commodore Stalkie McGroper

The Andromeda
The Andromeda is a ship with a Fleet support participation focus, and a strong family bond.

This ship's Captain is Bonzi D Darkstar

Their colors are Gold and Black

The Blood Eagle
Theme: Norse Culture

The Blood Eagle still focuses on Royal Navy turned to piracy but has now sailed to northern waters to expand their exploration.

Commanded by Captain McEwok.

Their colors are Red and Black.

The Dreadnaught
Theme: General Caribbean Piracy

The Dreadnaut is focused on many structure and service goals that comprise the Rogues as a community with a strong focus on historical and reality involvement. The Mythos of King Neptune plays a large role in their theme.

This is the ship run by Captain Zatara

Their colors are Aquamarine and Black

The Gadjo Safir
Theme: Barbary Coast Piracy

The Harbour is the central port for the Colorado Rogues. New recruits are captured (inducted) into slavery (the Step'N'Fetch Program) where they learn the ways of our pirates. If the slaves (Steps) perform well throughout their servitude, they earn the chance at their freedom (Graduation) and choose where they wish to serve in the Fleet, much like Giovanni Dionigi, who was an Italian slave captured by the Barbary pirates, won his freedom, and became Uluj Ali, the Last Supreme Lord of the Barbary Pirates.

The Harbourmaster is Harbourmaster Jettie Ali

Their colors are White, Orange and Black

The House Boat
The House Boat is run by Madam Spitfire Their colors are Burgundy, Green and Black

Shore Leave (Emeritus/Non-Commissioned Rogues)
Though not ships, Guilds are individual groups specialized in an area that members from multiple ships can be a part of. Basically a member of a ship can also be members of multiple guilds. But not multiple ships.

These are represented by Fleet Guild Master Phrae on the council with the assistance of the newly founded Shadow Brotherhood.

Through life's many trials and challenges, be rest assured the Healer's Guild can walk those miles with you and assist with whatever support is needed.

Since the Blood Eagle paid up their tabs at picnic and games, thank you Gypsy for finally giving us the gold, we are now able to build ourselves a ship. The “House” will remain on the island, but it’s time for us to start a delivery service.

Since the Blood Eagle paid up their tabs at picnic and games, thank you Gypsy for finally giving us the gold, we are now able to build ourselves a ship. The “House” will remain on the island, but it’s time for us to start a delivery service.

Biography
I'm DD!

Oh, that’s just a flesh wound!

Born to an Irish mother and a Scottish father, hatred of the English was in my blood. Not only was this distaste supported by my family, it was encouraged, as was education, for that matter. “Education is power, education is the road to freedom” my father would say. My father and uncle were both doctors, though of a philosophical nature, not a medicinal path like my own. Early on I knew medicine was my true calling.
I apprenticed under a druidic healer for years and studied the ancient healing powers of plants and herbs as many of my Celtic ancestors had. This foundation for my journey proved very useful. I trained in modern medicine for years, but as I developed my practice, I was unable to find the excitement I had always imagined, the real action was out at sea. My desire was to help the people who were suffering at the hand of the English, teach them modern theories of how to stay healthy and heal their illnesses and injuries when needed, as I could.
During my years of training, I frequently found myself in need of relaxation. This was something I found in dancing and drinking, an unusual practice, perhaps, for someone studying how to keep the body healthy. It didn’t matter. The music, I enjoy a dark, earthy sound. It didn’t matter the drink. I prefer something strong, yet smooth.
During the years of staying out at the pubs until the wee hours of the morning, I met a handsome fellow by the name of Keith. He was fun to talk and flirt with, and we enjoyed each other’s company as friends do. He introduced me to quite a few of his friends and family over the years, many of whom referred to him as Jereth, most of whom seemed to share my love of the sea. One may assume that I would’ve instantly connected with these people and taken them into my life as my own kin, but fear and apprehension would stop me,for years. In order to understand this, I must take you back to my youth, nearly 20 years ago.
I didn't always have a strong voice, I used to be nearly meek, in fact. Agreeable to a fault. I had to learn from some horrible experiences. As a youth, there were many things in my life that I tolerated that I may not have if I were older and more comfortable with my voice, as I am now. One of these things being a villain of a man that called himself by the name of a noble feline, whom I will simply refer to as "pussy" from here out. At a time when I was otherwise disillusioned by a suitor who I lived with, the pussy was our roommate. This was my gullible and naive phase, otherwise known as young and dumb.
During this vulnerable time in my life, like a ray of light, a strong, beautiful young lady's presence was a saving grace. Though she was hardly my senior in age, I looked up to her. She was level headed, of similar spiritual beliefs to my own and we were further bonded through our common dislike of the fool named pussy. Her name was Traveler Hawk. We were reunited several years after having fallen out of touch with one another and she too, was a part of this group of sea-fairing folk. In fact, she was a Captain. All the more reason to admire this strong woman. She is even more beautiful because of her strength.
Though pussy man did not leave me with any permanent scars, the foul taste in my mouth still lingers and when I see him, I wince in disgust with clinched fists. Over the years, I had witnessed him spending time in the same vicinity as these kinsfolk of Jereth. Ashamed though I may be, I categorized these people poorly due to their fraternization with the pussy and it took me over ten years to change my mind.
Shortly after concluding my studies in medicine, I came to know a young Frenchman by the name of Tony. We would frequently play cards together at the neighborhood pub and go to the dancehalls followed by a bite to eat shortly before sunrise. Tony was a wonderful friend in my life shortly after experiencing quite a few losses, understandably, we grew close quickly.
Just as happens in most new friendships, we introduced each other to several of our friends, some of whom were common between us without our knowledge. For the third time over nearly 10 years, I was introduced to “Rogues” through someone I trusted. That being said, I decided to give this wild bunch a chance and haven’t regretted it yet. I let the Frenchman know about my concerns with this haunt from my past, and through a few old-timers in the group I was assured that he was barely an acquaintance of a few people in the group, and was NEVER a member. I was further assured within only a week of being embraced by this family that he was never going to be an issue, because I was already valued and cared for. The foundation had been set for the building of a new family.
Right off the bat, I was welcomed by the group so warmly, it was moving. At one of my first weekend camping experiences with them, I arrived equipped with over a gallon of whiskey and rum as well as food to share with all. It was then that I learned the capacity this group of pirates had for drinking, they were my kind of people.
With such a large group of people who like to drink, accidents are bound to happen. My medical background was probably going to come in handy in one way or another, sooner than later. “Sooner” came quickly. It was the night following my pledge to join this rowdy band of miscreants. I would spend the next year trying to prove my worth and find my home amongst this family.
The first time I camped with the Rogues while on shore leave, during a sparring match, someone with a pre-existing injury and a bit of booze on the breath twisted his knee. A couple months later, the same fellow drank a bit too much and was a cause of concern for his friends, so I monitored him closely all night, he was to be fine.
While monitoring the kid, one of the Captain’s backs had a spontaneous “run-in” with some glass in a special frame, a frame containing our Letter of Marque from the King. No one knows how it happened, it was all very mysterious, really. The captain was being the highly spirited man that we all knew and loved and was resisting my care. I was the lowest ranking person present and was told by the officers in the Captain’s company that I needed to “get it done”.
…to be continued…

--work in progress--
